African aid money not missing, McCully says | Stuff.co.nz
The $1 million of aid money promised to Africa five weeks ago has been awarded to four groups, but is yet to have been paid out. Labour MP Maryan Street this afternoon questioned a commitment by Prime Minister John Key to send millions of dollars to Libya, when aid agencies were already asking where earlier promises to feed the drought-stricken people in the Horn of Africa had got to.
