Sam selects a poem from his new Baxter collection, talks fast cars, muses about romantic poetry, shares one from John Keats and tells us that hes purchased himself a wee plot of land and made up a new poem about it.
Sam phones in from the Beachcomber Motel in Kawakawa Bay where he’s been watching lights the previous night that may or may not have been MAF officials busting illegal fishing. For ANZAC day Sam has some poems from R.A.K. Mason and Baxter and he explains why the Kawakawa Bay slip of ’08 may have been a blessing in disguise for the local kids.
