Harley Neville is one third of a team that applied for a new funding scheme from the film commission this year. The scheme is called ‘Escalator’ and it is only available to people that haven’t previously received funding from the commission, it is designed to help the next generation of feature film makers get there first feature made, 251 teams applied, each one with 3 movie ideas each, 4 teams got 250k funding each, and Harley’s team wwas one of those 4 and are the only team from the south island.
