He is in New Zealand this week presenting PIXL THIS, a cult festival featuring videos produced using the PXL 2000, a plastic toy video camera made by Fisher-Price in the 80s. New Zealand’s only competitive short film festival is now in it’s third year with 41 films showing right across the country. One of the films is Chalk directed by Esther Cahill-Chiaroni. A story set just before Helen and Sam’s engagement party where a secret is unwittingly revealed. Show me Shorts kicks off in Auckland on November 6th before making it’s way round the country.
