Mikee from Loop popped by to drop the big news that Fly My Pretties will be putting together two special shows this summer. The first show at Pegasus Bay, Waipara North Canterbury on Saturday 15 January and then at Black Barn, Hawkes Bay: Saturday 22 January (Wellington Anniversary weekend).
Paul McLaney performs a track and talks about the new Fly My Pretties box set just released featuring a whole swag of talented musicians from all over the country. Paul explains how the project came together and looks forward to some new works on the horizon.
Barnaby Weir has today announced a new Fly My Pretties show will tour Christchurch, Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington through May and June 2009. Fly My Pretties is a live multimedia event starring a selection of our finest contemporary musicians, set to a stunning visual backdrop and filmed and recorded live.
