In recent years, online social networking has become an integral part of youth culture. New research by Netsafe, however, shows that half of New Zealand young people post sensitive information about themselves online. Our love for social networking seems to have come at a cost to personal security. Cyber bullying is on the rise. Employers are sussing out job applicants by checking out their online profiles.
